Change instrument in keyboard instrumentist

I tried to get a change of instrument (3 instances of 2 staff organ) in order to manage the registration changes in Halion VST.
The staff do not condense even as there is no simultaneous note between each individual instrument staffs.
Is the instrument change capability limited to only single staff instruments, or is it any way to proceed changes between two staffs instruments

Instrument changes should be possible between instruments with any number of staves, provided those instruments are held by the same player and don’t have overlapping notes.

Are instrument changes enabled in the layout you’re viewing?
Are all the instruments held by the same player?

It might be simplest to share your project for people to see exactly how you’ve set this up.

In principle I have enabled the instrument change…! and all three organs are in same player

If I show the hidden staff in the “Récit” I see overlapping notes with the “Grand Orgue”. Maybe this is the reason?

Thank you for investigating my issue

I effectively discover that there is a hidden staff in the “grand orgue” instrument ! I have suppresed the notes and then the staff…

I recreated the recit as a two staves organ, and then I do not understand why i get a -1 staff in the recit staff !)

I have activated the display of all staves for the organ player…, I don not see any more hiden staves or note and the final engraving mode do not show the instrauement changes…

When I open your project it is in Galley View and the -1 staff is for the “Grand Orgue”.

But the whole thing is above my horizon, sorry. Maybe someone else can help?

I have found a solution
the player which has instrument change shall not have the suppression of void staff. activated.
So when I excluded the “organ” instrument in the “vertical spacing” "hidding void staffs, the instruement cahnges has become effective as expected !
