Change instruments in SECTION player

In a SECTION instrument: I need to change the instrument (the stave type). Specifically, for Violini I: I have a normal 5-line stave, then I need to switch to a 1-line stave, and then back to a 5-line stave again. It’s one part, should be in one stave with changing of instrument’s type.

I also need to keep the ability to work with divisi (so I specifically need a section instrument). Does anyone have a solution?

You cannot add instruments to a section player… You could fake this with a solo player ? Of course, this would prevent you from using divisi… Depending on where those changes happen, you could mix that solo player and that section player together in the layout (so that they do not happen at the same time).

Thanks! I came up with an interesting trick using divisi and splitting players.

  1. In the Violini section, I created a DIVISI.
  2. I created separate vst-players for each divisi part.
  3. I assigned a vst-separate player to each track.
  4. Then I created a UNISON (it appears as a new separate track) and assigned it to the previous vst-player.
