Change keystrokes for rhythmic values?

Is there a way to change the keystrokes for the rhythmic values in step input? I’d like to change them to the system I’m used to, so that keypad-4 is a quarter note, not keypad-6.

Yes, you can do this. Go to the Key Commands page of Preferences, and expand the Note Input > Set Note Duration nodes in the list on the left. You’ll then see all the various durations there, and you should be able to assign the shortcuts you want to use.
