You are right, and it is not going to change the Normalization / Other Processes either, but I was sharing what I noticed yesterday.
As you can see from the video of previous Normalizer, there was 3 indicators - one in the form of a fader - vertical, the numerical input, and on the numerical input area, there was also a horizontal shade to show the value.
The GUI team of WL, whoever that was, was a class back then. They were not sparing even a small detail. May be the Montage looked a bit weird, that I think was because of dual color in stereo files.
I would also like to add, there are two approaches to audio in WL, one where the user listens and tweak audio (a song) while listening - using plugins (where a song is set to play for once and working while listening to it), and other where a large number of audio files are loaded and the files are stacked, cascaded and every file is played over and over.
In the first case, for mastering, the play button and the transport bar is used very less compared to the second set of people who use it.
WL, since 7, workflow and GUI is extremely insufficient for the second set of people.
