Change the “Relative Tempo Change” font

Greetings,

I am trying to change the font of “a tempo” which is in the Relative Tempo section in Dorico. However, when I try to change the font, it comes up as being listed in Immediate Tempo in Engrave Mode. So, if I change the font, it would also change Moderato at the beginning of my piece.

Is there a way to fix this, or to just do a one time edit just for “a tempo?”

Yes, “a tempo” and Moderato are both Immediate Tempo marks. If you want something different for “a tempo,” I’d recommend perhaps entering it as System Text.

or write accel. or rall in the tempo popover, and correct it in the properties panel to a tempo…
