Changing MIDI Pitch Values for Single Line Staff Instruments

I have a vst instrument that contains multiple cymbals as well as multiple playing techniques for each cymbal. Each individual combination of cymbal and technique corresponds to a midi pitch value. I want to show the cymbal in the score as a single line instrument. I created a percussion map so that the midi notes correspond to the vst instrument/technique values. How do I get the notes I’m entering in the single line staff to change midi pitch values?

You need to define different playing techniques in the Edit Percussion Playing Techniques dialog that correspond to the different playing techniques you’ve defined in your Percussion Map. You might find this post helpful.
