Changing part of lyrics to bold

Hi!

I work as a copyist and I’m entering a liturgical vocal score on Dorico 5.1.
Before some lines I need to identify the singer, e.g. P.: for Presidente and T.: for Todos:, and it needs to be bold (as shown in the image below).

I tried entering it in the same lyrics “box” and then changing the Paragraph Style, but it affects the whole text attached to the note.

I found two solutions for now, but they take a lot of time, and the document is huge.

  1. Inserting the label as text with Shift + X, unchecking Avoid Collision, and putting it manually where I need it. The down side is that if I change the layout later I’ll have to adjust the position manually.
  2. Inserting a note before and then hiding it, so I can insert the label and change the Paragraph Style to bold. The down side is that the spacing becomes odd (as shown in the next image).

Am I missing something?
Thank you so much!

You can do this within a single lyric “syllable”, and then fix up the alignment/exact graphical position later.

Wow, this solved my problem perfectly. In order to make it faster I added a key command to open the “Edit Lyric dialog”.
Thank you so much Lillie!
