Changing the stem direction

Hello …thanks for the help. I’m new to Dorico and am STRUGGLING !

I need to know how to easily change the direction of the stems on some notes without the whole composition going kablooey ! I’m just trying to change the stem direction. If you’ve got an easy way of doing this I’d appreciate the help. The tutorials were not helping…

If you’re using the correct Voices (Layers in Finale), then the stem direction should take care of itself. There are other situations, like stems on the middle line, that can be globally set in one go.

If you show a screenshot, we may be able to advise further.
