Changing where page numbers appear page-to-page

Completing my first project in Dorico. I have set up page numbers in my parts (using tokens on the default pages), but because of several fold-out pages (not enough rests for regular two-page page turns), I need to move around many page numbers. For example:

page 1 (a L page): no page number

pg. 2 (a R page): page number on R side

pg. 3 (a fold-out page): pg. no. on R side with good page turn

pg. 4 (a L page): pg. no. on L side

pg. 5 (a R page): pg. no. on R side with good page turn

etc.

I should probably just center all page numbers, but I’m curious if there’s a way to easily solve this side-to-side business. I checked the user manual (e.g., ā€œPage Number Changeā€), but I can’t find a solution.

Maybe create an extra Page template, based on default, named fold-out, with pagenumbers moved, and use a page template change when folding out?

Thanks for the suggestion, TonH. I’ll give this a try and see if I can get it to work.
