hi everyone!
as I wanted to switch a channel from stereo to mono, I realized I couldn’t click the symbol, for some reason. is this a bug, or am I missing something? it appears non-clickable in both the editor and the mixer.

Hi,
you can only change audio, group and fx channels from stereo to mono or vice versa. These are vst instrument channels. However, you can route them to a group channel and route this one out as mono if you want to.
To add a small info: For a virtual instrument it is the instrument plugin that decides about the configuration of its output channels.
If you Right+Click on the Panner you can change it from the default Stereo Balanced Panner to a Stereo Combined Panner. Now you can move both the left & right edges of the Panorama to the center which turns it Mono.
Good idea, that didn´t cross my mind! Not sure though if it was all about inserting a mono fx on the channel. All a question of routing I guess.
