Channel meter doesn't work correctly?

Hi,
I have a problem with Cubase 11.
When I import a mastered file in project, the meters go beyond 0 dB.
Statistics of imported file show peak of just under 0 dB

What kind of meter do you use, please? Is the project 24bit, 32 or 32 float?

32 bit float. I have changed bit rate and sample rate to match imported files but still, meters shows higher levet than it should. Im talking + 4 dB in some cases.
