Channel Strip Presets Backup

HI guys,

Apologies in advance if this is a question that has popped up before. I did do a quick forum search but couldn’t see anything jump out at me. My question is: is there a way to back up your channel insert presets? I have various strips saved for quick loading/handiness and I am in need of doing a clear out of my hard drive i.e. reinstall my os, apps etc and I would hate to lose my settings.

Alternatively is there a folder where the presets are saved?

I am on OSX 10.9.1 btw

Anyone?

For the mean time i have created a new Cubase project and just added new empty channels in and imported my strip presets as a back up, although i hope there is a way to back them up without having to have a project for them.
