Chase events controllers issue

Here my gear and scenario:

iMac, Cubase Pro 10.5.12, Korg Minilogue XD connected via usb.

I create the midi track and record the Minilogue XD midi data notes and controllers (filter etc…)
I record this external midi sound in a stereo audio track for load a new patch on my Korg ML;
Mute my first midi track and hide from project;
Create a new midi track and record new midi data BUT the controllers recorded on my first midi track (now in mute and hided) continue to control my new sound on the Minilogue XD.

In Cubase MIDI Preferences I see activated the CHASE for controllers, but I think that once my midi track is muted the problem must disappear on the new midi track.
I think that this is an issue that needs to be fixed

Disconnect the MIDI out on that midi track as a workaround

Thanks for the suggestion, as workaround I’ve changed the Cubase preference. Your suggestion Is very useful
