I have checking licences as well it’s on screen now why is it doing this i have the correct license?
Where do you see checking licenses? Can you show screenshots showing your issue?
All Steinberg products spend a few seconds checking for a licence.

it happens when closing project the screen opens hub screen and the checking for licence just sits there i have to task manager to get it off?

What do you have, in your Steinberg Activation Manager ? A screenshot of it would be welcome.
Does Cubase create a crash dump you could upload here? This way, we get a better understanding which processes/plugins cause this behaviour. It doesn’t necessarily have to be Cubase, maybe some 3rd party plugin?
where would i find this crash dump?
