Checking the correct range of instruments

Dear friends, is there in Dorico 6 a function / plug-in for checking the correct range of instruments, like in Finale? Thanks!

Hey Ludger,

yes, under View > Note and Rest colors you can color notes according to their being out of range.

I had to turn it off as it kept telling me a top “D” was out of the range of a trumpet.

You can change the ranges by editing the instrument definition (Library>Instruments...), though it won’t change the playback range.

You can also just… ignore the colors.
