"Choir (reduction)" for 4 individual singers

I notice that whether set up as Solo or Section singers, “Choir (reduction)” loads sections for each vocal range.

To load one singer per vocal range, would one instead have to use Reducing music onto fewer staves ?

When you say “loading”, are you talking about the HALion player’s samples?

I don’t think there are any solo voice samples in HALion.

Other libraries, like Noteperformer, have Solo and Choir vocal instruments, and they will respond to the Solo/Section status of a player.

I have other libraries – but have delayed trying them in Dorico while beginning to learn it – but this is good to know! :smiley:
