I find the lower zone very useful for editing audio (hitpoints, variaudio etc.), but not when it comes to midi editing. I always find myself zooming and fuzzing around before it gets practical enough to do the actual editing of the midi notes, especially with chords.
So when editing midi by double clicking on the part, i’d like a separate window opened. For Audio I would like to use the lower zone. Right now I can only find a global edit preference to either open a window or display the editor in the lower zone.
Any way around this? Something I missed?
