Chord Symbol Font Issue

Using Norfolk Sans the accidentals in alterations don’t lineup correctly. Is there a fix for this issue that I am missing? Thanks in advance!

I don’t have that font, but what font and size are you using for Font Styles / Chord Symbols Music Text Font? Is that Bravura Text, or something else?

It is Norfolk Sans specifically here. Norfolk Sans I believe is from NY Music Services…14 for both. Size doesn’t seem to matter (haha) and the issue scales with the size I choose. I’ve attached the same thing with OPUS sans. A bit better but b5 is still not lined up the way I would like I don’t think. When I try to go in and edit the symbol with the chord editor in engrave mode the b5 all moves together. I can’t move just the b or just the 5. Hope that makes sense.

Is Norfolk Sans a music font? Or a text font? That flat just looks like the Bravura U+ED60 glyph to me. What happens if you change Font Styles / Chord Symbols Music Text Font to Bravura Text? Does that fix the positioning of the accidentals?

Ah, just saw you edited the post. If you have manual overrides, then the Font Style setting won’t update. I would remove any overrides until you’re happy with the basic design first.

Norfolk is a port of Bravura for use in Sibelius.

Ah, ok. So Norfolk Sans has both text and music glyphs? Stephen, if those glyphs are the same, did you try Norfolk Sans for the text and Bravura Text for the Chord Symbols Music Text Font? Maybe the glyph positioning isn’t quite the same, although the size looks too big to me too.

It is possible to redefine the positioning with a doricolib file (I have a bunch of minor positioning tweaks in mine) but I wouldn’t think that would be necessary here. If you still can’t get it working, feel free to shoot me a PM.

Any updates on this issue. I have the same issue with Norfolk and Opus Sans.
Thanks!
