Hello. I was given a Dorico file to work in that was made from a template, and then had a converted Finale file (musicXML) pasted into it. Major problem is that all of the accidentals in chord symbols that have them are not showing. When I go to type into the chord symbol, I see the accidental (ex: Bbm7), but then it just displays Bm7). Anyone know what the problem is and how to solve it? [Version: 6.2.20.6183 (Apr 24 2026)]
I assume you are using a font that isn’t completely compatible, like one of the MakeMusic fonts. Try Bravura or Petaluma and they should appear. If you search the forum, there are lots of threads about the workarounds required if you want to use Finale Jazz or another font that doesn’t contain all the SMuFL glyphs in the correct locations.
