Hi there. All chord symbols of my music have suddenly disappeared. When I try to write them again I realize that they are still there, but only in the popups. Anyone an idea?
By default Dorico shows chords only on rhythm instruments. To show them above other instruments one needs to right-click the player panel in setup mode and use the pull-down mode to set chord symbols for “all” instruments (meaning all included for that Player).
One can also use Layout options to set chord symbols to show only above the top staff.
There are also such things as chord regions that one can add to specific measures of specific instruments.
Thanks a lot, Derrek. It happened when I realized that I had written the voice into the upper part of a piano staff and copied the music to a new created voice staff.
