I’m writing a score where some instruments have both written out and improvisation sections. In these instruments’s parts, for the latter it is essential to have chord symbols, but for the former these are superfluous and take unneeded space.
I’m selecting all the chords one staff at a time in Engrave Mode and hiding them in the sections they are not needed, but I wonder if there is an easier way to do this.
