I need some help with “scale events” in the “chord track”. I don’t understand how Cubase decides whether chords belongs to a specific scale. Let me explain what I mean…
At first I manualy inserted a scale event before adding a chord event… in this case E-Phrygian…
Then I inserted a chord event at the same position … in this case an E-Minor triad… AFAIK is E-Minor a chord of the E-Phrygian scale, but as soon as I inserted the chord the scale event the text changed to italic and I get the message, that scale and chord don’t match.
What am I missing?
