I am English language user and opened a project from Orchestral tool (called BFO-Template_Expression-Maps.cpr, see it in attached ZIP) to use as a template for Berlin Free Orchestra projects.
Worked all fine, but the project has one peculiarity: the chord track is labeled “Akkordspur”, is not editable, and since you can apparently have only one chord track, to get rid of it, would need to recreate the chord track (first delete Akkordspur, then create Chord Track).
Likely cause (from what I imagine is the root cause): orchestral tools being German, they used Cubase with German as UI language, and somehow this track name/type did not get internationalized correctly when saving.
Edit: also the Input/Output folder has a non-editable name “Eingangs/Augangskanäle”. There may be more non-internationalized labels in the UI
Reproduce:
- Set English as the UI language.
- You probably want Berlin Free Orchestra and the SINE player installed.
- Open attached cpr file.
- See the Chord track in upper track panel, labeled “Akkordspur”
System:
- Windows 11
- Cubase Pro 15.0.21
- SINE player plugin; BFO data installed
Did not test other OS’es or Cubase versions.
