Chord Track Triggering Root Notes

Hello fellow Cubase users,

When I use my MIDI keyboard (Axiom 61 Keyboard) with the chord track on Cubase 8 Pro, besides the chord I want to trigger it also triggers the same note that I am pushing. If I drag a BbMaj7 into C1, it also triggers C1. Anyone else having this issue? How can I solve it?

I have the same issue, and I can’t use the chord pads on my midi controller (a-500 pro).
This must be some sort of mapping issue, but I can’t figure it out and it renders the chord pads useless on my midi-controller.
