Just experimenting with chorder and I see there are presets I can use to trigger a chord from a single note but how can I tell Cubase what key I am in so for example an A note triggers an A minor chord if for example I am in the key of C? Thank you.

Chord Track is Root Key independent. You just load any Chords, you want to use in your song. Cubase doesn’t take care, if does it fits to your scale or not.
If you load any preset, which doesn’t fit to your scale, just transpose all Chords on the Pads by using Functions menu of Chord Pads and Transpose All Pads.
