Chorder stucking notes when played from midi keyboard

Cubase v 14.10.

Chorder (the midi plugin) causes notes to stuck and also trigger notes not only on key press but also when a key on a midi keyboard is released. This doesn’t happen when the notes are triggered from piano roll.

I have checked the midi data coming from the keyboard with midi monitor plugin in Cubase and there are no double triggers happening.

Edit: I think I know what the issue is. The MIDI Monitor plugin in Cubase shows that my Nektar Panorama P6 controller trasmits midi note on message at 0 velocity instead of transmitting midi off message. I read that it’s not uncommon.

Everything is fine when I play and record midi in Cubase, but the issue arises when Chorder is used as it interprets midi note on message at 0 velocity as trigger and doesn’t silence previously played notes.

I have tried using Hydrasynth Explorer as a controller and it sends midi off message instead of midi note on message at 0 velocity and there is no issue.

Could anyone please confirm it is a bug of the Chorder plugin? It’s behaviour is incosistent with the rest of Cubase.

Edit: It’s a bug. Cubase interprets Midi on message at 0 Velocity as Midi off (which is an established way to do Midi off message) at all times except when Chorder is used. The bug was noted by Steinberg support and passed to the developers.
