Chords outside of music frame

Is there a layout option that I’m missing that causes chords to be placed outside of the music frame?

Thanks, that kind of works, but caused more layout problems as it moved a staff to an extra page when other pages had no collisions.

I just adjusted the music frames manually in engrave mode. I’m surprised Dorico doesn’t include chords in vertical spacing in terms of music frames. I found this in the documentation:

Notes and notations above the highest staff and below the lowest staff extend into margins.

Why would we want notes and notations to extend into the margins?

Dennis, before changing the Music margins you could lock the layout.

I’ve never used the lock layout - I’ll experiment with that. Thanks!
