I have a Steinberg CI1 that I bought ages ago. It has worked until I had to upgrade my laptop, which only has USB-C ports. I have an adapter for the proper USB called helix that has 3 USB 2.0 ports and 1 USB 3.0 port. I don’t really know what any of this means, is it possible to make this interface work with these adapters? I have plugged it into each port and reinstalled the driver and the light on the interface still hasn’t lit up.
Hi Kieran, I’ve just run into the same issue, I’ve had a CI1 working with an old Macbook pro 2013, upgraded to a Macbook pro 14" with M2 Chip and the device simple won’t work. I’ve got new leads even been on the phone with apple support, I just can’t get it to work. Did you resolve it for yourself?
