I helped a friend set up his new CI2+ today. The ability to monitor the input signal on the Headphone jack seems like a good idea (direct monitoring of a sort, even though it can’t be controlled through Cubase) except for one thing. The channel one input seems only to be routed to the left ear. Is this a malfunction or a ‘feature’? The DAW signal plays back in stereo, as expected. If this is the way it is supposed to work, it’s very disconcerting when recording.
