Will purchasing from Cinematique Instruments’ website provide a license for HALion?
I contacted Cinematique Instruments directly but haven’t heard back from them yet.

Their plugins are on sale on their website, but this doesn’t seem to be reflected on Steinberg’s website. I’m not seeing info about HALion on their website, just Kontakt, which is fine, but I prefer to work in HALion.

Short answer - no.

Cinematique appears to have made some Halion expansions which are sold on Steinberg’s site, but the expansions on Cinematique’s own site are for Kontakt, not Halion.

Note that at least some of them require “Full Kontakt” - which is to say not the free “Player” version of Kontakt.
