I am attaching a photo of a problem I have, I have notated piano clusters, in some, when I have had to use a custom notehead (where a square notehead does not work), there is clearly a tiny difference in where the blackness of the notehead cuts off and the appearance looks uneven. Where I am able to use square noteheads, due to placement on the staff, see photos, the cluster notation appears smooth, but when I have to include a note that does not extend into the correct space, that is where is it uneven. Does anyone know how to fix this? I was using a custom notehead for the times I needed to place a note on the stave without converting it because of where on the stave the note is placed (top photo), otherwise, I converted to square noteheads and built the cluster notationally such that it appears to the musician correctly (bottom photo).
