Clean up function

Am I right in assuming that the clean up function only gets rid of unused files in the main pool and not in the trash?

Being curious about this topic I looked up this feature in the
manual Pg 61 ‘Working with projects’
and still it does not seem to answer your question.

At least not for me.

Give it a read. Maybe you can understand it.
