I have an audio track into which I recorded multiple versions of a vocal lyrics track in cycle mode. The versions show up in different lanes. I deleted some of them for various mistakes I made, leaving empty lanes here and there.
Then I tried to clean this mess up with the Clean Up Lanes command. Nothing happens. The command does not work.
Windows 10, Cubase Pro 15, version 15.0.5.

It works on my side here. How did you trigger the command? Did you right-click on the Audio track and select the option from the drop-down menu?
I just tried it with a brand new Cubase 15 Project file, and the Clean Up Lanes command works in that project.
But the command does not work in a large project that I started working on in Cubase 14.
Any advice about how to straighten out the old project file would be greatly appreciated.
