Click on stereo out in mix console takes project window to top

Cubase 14 mac mini pro. using 2 monitors. Mix console is on right monitor. Project window is on left monitor. When I click on the stereo out on the mix console (right monitor) it takes the project window (left monitor) all the way to the top, where I have the stereo out living. When I hide the stereo out on the project window, clicking on it in the mix console makes the inspector go blank, because the stereo out is hidden. I don’t want any change on the project window (left monitor) when I click on the stereo out in the mix console (right monitor). How can I make this happen? Thanks.

Unchecking “Sync Selection in Project Window and MixConsole” may be what you’re looking for:

Though this preference will obviously affect all selections, not just the stereo out.
I’m not aware of any way to do this only for the master channel.

Oh, I think I misunderstood. My bad.

Not at all…your understanding based on the limited set of information is perfectly good.

Yes, I want that connection between mix console and project window on all other tracks, just not the master stereo out.
