Clip gain in Cubase 14

The new clip gain in C14 is fantastic news! I’m going to buy the upgrade today.

I used the name “clip gain” in the tile as we old user that have been asking this for a long time know what we’re taking about, but feel free to a replace with the actual new name if necessary.

One improvement I feel would be very helpful is if, when creating a new volume point, the volume after that point stayed at the previous level—as it works in Pro Tools.
This way, it would save the step of manually adding a second volume point (the main point of “clip gain” is indeed change the gain in a detailed way in specific part of the waveform, not the full event, as for that we have many options). This suggestion bring up a one of the same point many of us keep asking while discussing a new revised automation system.

Anyway, C14 brings great workflow improvements and I can’t wait to download it.
Hopefully at least some of the bugs introduced along the way will be taking care of. But hey, it’s already a great day in America :joy:, can’t complain

just buy gainaimpro, or as now called dynassist
