All Dorico projects I meet so far used either master music frames or layout music frames, not both together. Is there a case thinkable where both frame types will coexistence happily?
If you create a page that introduces the score, with the beginning of each flow (first bars of piano for each flow, for instance) you might use those LA, LB… And then, when the real score starts, il would be MA. Just a tought reading your post.

The main music frame was part of a frame chain. The snippet of music in the footnotes was a separate flow, which was included twice in two small music frames.
