Color Selected Tracks All At Once

Hello together,
is there a simple way to color all selected tracks at the same time? It’s pretty inefficient when you are in a big mixing session with e.g. 30 vocal tracks, and you want to organize them, and you just can’t simply select them all together and click on the left of the track (with the small icon for audio) and choose the color. I have to do this for each of the 30 tracks one by one, which is quiet annoying and takes too much time.

Any ideas how to accomplish it naturally (not with the project logical editor).

Cheers
Paddy

Hi,
there are several ways to do it, see here:

You can also assign a simple key command to colourize all selected tracks, no need for the Project Logical Editor. Search for “color” under Edit/Key Commands and assign the function of your choice.

Thanks a lot. It worked. It was not so obvious to see. Because it’s only inside this box which is gonna open when you hit the key command “Set Track/Event Color” (Shift + Ctrl + C) which looks pretty similar to the normal Colorize Dialog. Didn’t look at the only difference, which is the text “Colorize Selected Tracks”… thought it was the same.

Thanks again.

Cheers Paddy

This should be Cubase’s strap line.
