Hi. I’ve made some cues in areas of my composition, but even with 1/2 size notes I feel the cue sections look too similar to the actual to-be-performed notes.
Is there a way to colour just cue notes?
Note: I can’t actually seem to select the cue notes, because on the respective parts, the notes don’t “exist” in that space.
Of course, I don’t want these same notes coloured on the instruments which actually play the notes, nor on the full score.
You can colour cues to identify them easier within Dorico by following these steps
If you also want them to print/export in a different colour, you’d have to tell Dorico to include annotations in the export.
I think I found a bug. issue
I had already tried this option to view colours of cues.
However, with this still on, I subsequently tried turning voice colours on, then off, and now the cues are indeed grey as expected!
And thanks for reminder of annotations print options.
To elaborate, before I did the voice colours on then off, the cues were still black, apart from a few rests.
