(You = steinberg)
I love your products… I own Dorico Elements and Dorico iPad basic (SE) and several free instruments. However, I would like to be able to use what I have across both platforms. And if I upgrade to Pro, there is no way to use the special features on iPad.
I understand that development and payment for these two products are separate and, but I feel like the portability factor of iPad should be available for more things.
So, my idea: Create several new iPad apps. Other than the functionality for purchases (For instance all helper apps like activation manager would be condensed into one app, Steinberg Hub) but all apps would be interlinked with the same activation system as the desktop version. Installation would be free, but the ability to use more than the free version would be limited by what you own and have purchased on steinberg.net. And finally, pressing and holding on an app icon on Home Screen would let you select certain editions.
A lot more development, but certainly worth the time IMHO. It’s hard to imagine that you built the iPad apps from scratch, although please correct me if I’m wrong.
Why did I post this on the general purpose forum? This would be all products. Vst support (Steinberg and third-party) would be complete for Cubase and Dorico, and NotePerformer could be integrated.
