After downloading and installing some complimentary software with the Steinberg Download Assistant, I was prompted for an activation key. In the United States the word “complimentary” can mean either “free” or “compliments/approving”. For Steinberg it is apparently the “latter”.
It doesn’t say Complimentary, it says Complementary.
