probably a simple obstacle but I don’t know how to start.
I’m at the very beginning, just opened a new project (simple solo piano). Double click and I see the carrot line and can enter notes by mouse. I can hear what I write (piano sound) and play back by clicking the transport start button. But every keyboard hit from the computer keyboard is ignored. Numbers, enter, letters, space, esc… everything gives just the little ‘floink’ sound of the Apple keyboard when using key commands that are not allocated. Only the ‘screen flash’ is missing. My keyboard works well in all other applications. No caps lock set. I just saw the YT video “Hints and Tips When Entering Music with MIDI and QWERTY Keyboards | Discover Dorico” and followed every step but I can’t get it to work.
I’m on a MacBook Pro 2012 Quadcore Sierra, using the integrated keyboard.
