Here is a passage which should have been condensed, flutes 1 and 2. I’m guessing that it didn’t because Dorico thinks the instrument change only happens when Fl. 2 actually starts playing? (Fl. 2 was playing piccolo about 10 bars earlier.) Is there a way around this?
No, for the time being there’s no way around it, but we will make improvements to how Dorico handles condensing for players with multiple instruments in future.
