Content licence checkup EVERY startup!

Hi, Cubase Pro (10.5.12) has started to do a content license checkup every time I’m starting the program and it has become more than a little annoying.
I tried uninstalling everything but its still there. Ia´va also trashed my prefs to no avail.
What more can I do?

The content license checkup was always part of Cubase start. Do you mean something specific?

Hello - did you ever solve this?
My version of Cubase 10.5 has suddenly started doing the same thing, adding a good couple of minutes to loading time.
Have updat4ed e-licenser control centre to no avail.
Any help welcome!

Try to start eLCC as administrator and trigger Maintenance, please.

Hello Martin - thanks for the suggestion but it hasn’t made a difference.

Could you try in Cubase Safe Start Mode [Disable preferences], please?

I haven’t tried, but what about to uninstall and reinstall the content?

Try this:
in c:\Users\yourpc\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\Cubase 10.5_64
1 - for security make a backup of the mediabay3.db file
2 - delete mediabay3.db
restart Cubase

thanks Delta, I’ve had the same issue for weeks… but now its solved thanks to your solution…

may you be kind enough to explain the science behind it? why delete mediabay3.db file saved our day ^^
