On start up I get the message Content License Check “Retry” most of the times.
At first it was manageable by just pressing “retry” and then C12.0.70 would open right away.
Is there a solution to make this message go away?
I have iLock running in the background.
Windows 10
Thank you so much
Do you happen to have this content stored on an external drive? Sometimes they can take awhile to respond on first use. What happens if you launch Cubase, go through this dialog and then close Cubase. Then if you launch Cubase again do you get the dialog?
Hi Raino,
I’m using the internal drive
You mean I click on “Ignore content” ?
I always click on “Retry” and it works right away.
I haven’t tried “Ignore content”. Will see what it does.
This began when I downgraded from C13 to C12.
I’m thinking maybe there’s a hidden cache folder that I need to clear since I downgraded.
I’m not sure…
They both use the same Vst3 folder.
Also I forgot to mention when I launch the program, C12 will be stuck around 30 seconds on the content license check and randomly the retry box will appears . Sometimes the retry box won’t appear and cubase will launch.
I’m still suspicious that the disk takes awhile to wake up & that causes it to not find them. But by the time you tell it to retry the disk is ready to go.
