Controller knob that produces keystroke per direction

Hi Everyone,

I have a cheap controller that has two infinite knobs, that can be assigned to generic keystrokes (i.e. increment-left → F13, increment-right → F15). I would like to assign this to a slider control in (eg. ‘Main Volume’ slider, in the “Devices→Actions and Shortcuts” window).

It looks like sliders can only be assigned to one ‘generic keystroke’/shortcut.

Does anyone know a way to do this?

Thanks,

Kevin L

Currently you can’t use this kind of controller for continous values. Answered just a few days ago (please use SEARCH)

Thanks for the reply, @fkalmus ,

OK - I understand that the current implementation does not support this now. Can I request that support be added for incremental slider control?

Might be nice to have:

keystroke/shortcut to bind (To either nudge-up or nudge-down)
value increment (eg. nudge up by '5')
bounds (eg.nudge no less than value of 10 )

This isn't super-urgent, but it would be nice to have!

Thanks,
Kevin L
