Cubase Elements 12. I have an analogue sequencer-style plugin (HY-SEQ32 free version) on one track, whose notes are playing a plugin synth on another destination track. All works fine, except I want to record changes to the sequencer - such as octave, base note and so on - as it plays. Yet the sequencer plays only when its destination track is selected, so that I can’t access the sequencer’s controls (it stops playing as soon as I select that track).
There must be a simple means to access the controls of a sequencer track while it is running. What am I missing?
