Controlling all VST folder locations

Hi
I’m getting Cubase 8.5 pro and NI Komplete soon.
I want (if possible) to have all VST instruments/plugins etc. in the same main root folder/s.

Is it possible to choose which folders Cubase installs it’s own VST’s when installing?

No way to move the Cubase plugins, but you can install all your third party VSTs in a folder you specify, for example I use: “D:\VST 64” (any VST I install goes in this folder)

Then just tell Cubase the path in the Plugin Manager settings.

Just a side note all VST3 plugins go in a specific directory…“C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3”
