I’m a guitar player, so midi is a new art to me and I am a freaking newb.
I want to use Cubase 5, in a live situation to playback the recorded sounds (click track mainly) , and have Cubase send patch changes to my Roland GR-55 Guitar Synth including Looper Control. This way I can loop i synch with the click track perfecvtly and manage complex patch changes in an automated fashion.
So I have aRoland UM-One to convert my USB to Midi connected to the GR-55, but I can not figure out how to send patch change data as events in the recording, please advise in as plain english as you can cause I am an idiot.
