Converting a project from 96k to 48K

Hi all, I am trying to convert a project from 96KHz to 48KHz sample rate. In the past I have gone to: Project → setup and then made the change in the pop-up box, at that point it usually give me the option of do I want to convert the audio files and keep sample position etc…

However, I’m trying to do this now and once I click ‘OK’ in the project setup box the software just freezes and I get no pop-up box. Software completely unresponsive; am I missing something here?

This sounds very much like the audio driver is the culprit, not Nuendo itself. Switch to a generic driver before and try again.

It’s either like Dietz stated above, or your audio drive does not have enough space to do all the conversion…
