Converting Monophonic Audio (a Bass Part) to MIDI?

Hi, All –

Maybe I’m missing something obvious, but in Cubase 7.5, is there are simple way to convert, say, a bass part (monophonic audio) to MIDI? If not, are there any plug-ins that could accomplish this? I’m hoping to take some bass guitar parts I’ve recorded and then double them with samples or synth bass – all without having play them all over again the old-fashioned way on a MIDI keyboard.
